Agra och Taj Mahal

Agra – vilket ställe.

[imagebrowser=24]

I like him. This book is my philosophy. Be careful with it” typ…

    I did this deal and it was great. I had a trip to England planned, so havnig the Gold Status give me an instant savings. The Hilton in Swindon England charged 15 Pounds per day for Internet, which was free as a Gold Member. It also got me a free Breakfast Buffet. I was there for 5 nights, so this was a hugh savings for me.When I got back to the U.S. I decided I wanted to keep the Gold Status, so to makeup the needed stays, I booked a weekend at my local Hampton Inn. Any Hilton brand hotel counted towards the stays.Then in Novemeber I went to Las Vegas and stayed at the LV Hilton. I was there on a casino promo rate of 4 nights for a total of $139 (for all nights). Then the Gold Status got me a free upgrade to their Grand Room mini suite. It also got me free Breakfast Buffet for two each day, savings of $15/buffet and free Internet in my room, saving of $14/day. So Gold Status is well worth it.

    I just saw this and although, I am aladrey a Gold member through my Surpass AMEX card, I registered my visa AA card and received the message for 5,000 points.My assumption is that is only if you were a gold aladrey through some othe rprogram, not if you got it from registering the VISA card.That is probably why you did not get the 5,000 points.Thanks anyway & keep it coming.This site is a treasure trove!!

  4. Lesley says...

    while it is a good rate, with taxes etc. you are still looking at $150+. I do not bevleie it would be worthwhile by itself. You may wish to combine it and apply for the no-fee AMEX hilton card which can allow you to earn up to 62,500 points (with $500 spend and 4 stays). If you add this with the 5000 points above, it is a great deal.

    GeorgeThose who don’t know, don’t know that they don’t know. The true cost of a high risk venture are raerly obvious to those with no experience. My home state of New Jersey has removed and destroyed (and replaced) over 6500 trees in the north eastern part of the state due to asian longhorned beatle infestation.

  13. Linda says...

    Hey JL! Sounds like the India I remember the late night aarvirl, crazy traffic, people trying to extract every last rupee from you one way or another. Eventually I got into the habit of doing everything myself to avoid the need to tip. Also bargained hard with things like rickshaws (always in advance) and rarely took the first offer. Tough decision whether to succumb to the exorbant prices (relatively speaking) that tourists typically get charged. May be worth finding an english-speaking trustworthy looking person prepared to take you around for the day for x dollars who ensures you don’t get ripped off left, right and centre as a bonus, they’ll probably tell you their life story.Anyway, it brings back memories. Happy travelling!

    6 weeks notice is all you have to give. But, I know you aren’t going to leave there, unsels you have to. We all miss all of you, terribly. Just the knowing that you aren’t in Austin is too overwhelming for me to dwell on but for a minute or two. That’s all I will allow myself. I know you miss your friends as much as they miss you. Erin and Blair miss you the most, I think. I want your time there to be good. Not fraught with maladies and stress. You can get that in Austin. lol I will be more encouraging. This is a learning experience for all of you. And us. I’ve learned my lesson.

    Thanks for your feedback Carrie!This is a strange path I find myself on. You do make a sound point and I plan to have an audio version complete and without breaks ready before I release it serially so that people can purchase it as well. Free is a good way to get folks hooked so that they want the rest “NOW!”. And for those that don’t there will be the podiobook version.Hopefully this book will live up to some of the better PB content.

    Thank you for your correct assessment of “where is God?” I have seen God blamed for everything from what Satan does to us, to our toxic world, to our own bad decisions. Jesus made a way out of our messes on the cross, but we have to choose it and activate it. He bought back our dominion in the earth that Adam and Eve gave away. When we choose to receive that sacrifice, we have everything that we need at our disposal. He made a way, but we have to use it. It’s still up to us to choose correctly. Thanks again.Also, you have a beautiful site.Blessings,Kathy
