Guide till att använda RSS och RSS-läsare.
Ja, något så förträffligt smart som RSS-läsare tycker jag inte ska behöva gå någon förbi, för vi ägnar alltför mycket tid åt att sitta och klicka runt på sajter överösta med grafik och bläddra igenom saker vi redan sett etc. Därför är ju rss ett mkt finurligt påfund.
RSS-feeds är alltså ett annat sätt att visa upp din webbsida, med en struktur som är i xml istället för i wordpress fall php. Finessen med en rss-feed är att du kan prenumerera på den och på så sätt få reda på när det kommit nya inlägg/artiklar på sidor som du besöker ofta.
För att prenumerera på en Rss-feed gör du följande:
- Registrerar på google reader eller laddar hem en lämplig rss-läsare (oftast har din webbläsare en form, men inte den mest effektiva.)
- Går in på dina aktuella bloggar/hemsidor/forum.
- Alla sidor som har en rss-feed får en liten orange ikon till höger i adress-fältet. Om du klickar på den kommer du till hemsidans rss-feed.
- Denna kan du antingen spara som favorit i din webbläsare, eller kopiera adressen och klistra in i google reader under alternativet “lägg till en prenumeration”. Sedan är det bara att du går till http://google.com/reader och tar del av allt du brukar läsa på webben!
